作者按照我们(李荣华,陈仲英和吴微) 的专著[83]介绍我国早在70年代末建立
的广义差分法,其中9个定理涵盖了80年代得到的理论结果。本章前言最后一段
(p.398)说:In 1978, R.Li, using finite element spaces and generalized
characteristic functions on dual elements, rewrote integral interpolation
methods in a form of generalized Galerkin methods(GDM). This method
is basically an extension of the finite volume method (i.e., with
piecewise constant and piecewise linear elements the two methods are,
in fact equivalent) and provides a useful theoretical basis for it.
